Can evooia be used for energy-based device studies?

Yes. Laser, radiofrequency and HIFU studies photograph the treated area in the same views at every time point, often over several months, so each follow-up can be compared with the participant's own baseline. For facial treatments, sites use evooia's guided face templates; for body treatments, the guided torso views from the front and the side, and free capture, with the previous photo as an overlay, covers any other area. Clinicians or central graders assess the images under your protocol.

Can we set up an aesthetic study protocol with our own views, expressions and time points?

Yes. An aesthetic study protocol fixes which views and expressions are photographed at each time point, and every site has to repeat it the same way. In evooia, your team can edit, hide or create capture templates and set the views, expressions and time points, and each view keeps its own target distance, lens and zoom. How is participant consent handled?

In the app, the same way at every site. Participants sign on the device and choose each purpose separately (documentation, education, marketing, each also available de-identified). Every signature is linked to the exact version and language of the consent text, and each consent and withdrawal is recorded with time and device.

Sites and participants capture each mole with free capture, with the previous photo over the live camera, dermoscopic images can be added with a clip-on dermatoscope, and clinicians or central graders assess the images under your protocol.

How do sponsors document skin side effects in drug trials?

Skin side effects are documented by photographing the same area with the same lighting, distance, angle and framing at every time point. How do you standardise photography in a multi-site study?+

Each participant's photos are compared with their own baseline, so every capture has to control the same four variables: lighting, distance, angle and framing. Because the results of all sites are pooled, every site has to hold them stable from baseline to the last follow-up. Dedicated imaging systems fix these variables with hardware at each site; a software protocol can instead guide every operator to the same standard. evooia takes the second route: the app guides each photo on iPhone or iPad to the same standard, and AlignedCapture™ aligns follow-ups onto the baseline.
